Our Mission

Living foundation diabetes is a non profit organization 501(C)(3) that is committed to improving the health outcome of individuals living with diabetes through awareness, education, teaching and empowerment of the community.

Diabetes is a chronic disease and a major public health problem that is becoming the biggest epidemic of the twenty- first century.

According to center of disease control (CDC)(2012) 9.4 percent of the population in United States has diabetes, and more than 1 in 4 of them don’t know they have it.

Our Goals

To foster a dynamic multidisciplinary team that conducts innovative disease research – Facilitate the translation of new research funding into novel therapies for patients with diabetes as quickly as possible.

Improve clinician care and enhance the quality of life for individuals living with diabetes through professional training and educational programs. Collaborate with other leading centers of research, thus creating global intellectual environments that focus on diabetes treatment and care, establishing corporate philanthropic and academic partnerships to share the cost of research development and accelerating the testing of new approaches through primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions.
