“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Mission Statement

Living foundation diabetes is a non profit organization 501(C)(3) that is committed to improving the health outcome of individuals living with diabetes through awareness, education, teaching and empowerment of the community.

Diabetes is a chronic disease and a major public health problem that is becoming the biggest epidemic of the twenty- first century.

According to center of disease control (CDC)(2012) 9.4 percent of the population in United States has diabetes, and more than 1 in 4 of them don’t know they have it.

Our Goals

To foster a dynamic multidisciplinary team that conducts innovative disease research – Facilitate the translation of new research funding into novel therapies for patients with diabetes as quickly as possible.

Improve clinician care and enhance the quality of life for individuals living with diabetes through professional training and educational programs. Collaborate with other leading centers of research, thus creating global intellectual environments that focus on diabetes treatment and care, establishing corporate philanthropic and academic partnerships to share the cost of research development and accelerating the testing of new approaches through primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions.

Our Vision

Our vision is to ensure that all the financial resources necessary are available to explore all scientific methods, prevent, cure diabetes, and improve the lives of people affected by diabetes.

We believe that thorough clinical health research can greatly improve the level of care provided to our local communities.

By raising the standard of the procedures, qualifications, and healthcare technologies used for prevention.

Connecting with other healthcare providers and increasing coordination during patient care improves collaboration.

What to do

Regular physical activity may aid in the prevention of diabetes. Exercise raises your cells' insulin sensitivity. As a result, when you exercise, you need less insulin to keep your blood sugar levels under control.

We Find & Fund

We are in search of opportunities to help as many youth as possible. We approach and fund all those who are in need.

We Provide Care

Today’s youth need a helpful hand and right guidance at every stage. Here’s where we take care of them like our own.

We Educate

We run small-scale schools for the underprivileged children and youth of daily wage workers for a better future.

We Employ

We run organizations where we employ youngsters so they can live their dreams for themselves and their families.
